I would never again live where there are not four seasons. I need that change in my life and enjoy them all.

To everyone who proclaimed that winter was their favorite season...let me ask.  " Are you having fun, yet?" If so, you must live in a warmer part of the country.

Yes @Carmie  I am having fun enjoying the snow.  After shoveling I went for a bundled up walk with my neighbor.  Felt good to get out of the house and breath the cold crisp air.  Confess I don't really enjoy shoveling at my age, but I got some exercise.

@rms1954  .. I know you mean well .. I agree  that spring is coming but, unfortunately things will never be normal again🧐

@rms1954 @January121    It will be a NEW "normal"  we can deal with it.

I'm beginning to hate the phrase 'new normal'. It's starting to become an excuse. It's starting to become a cover up.

I'm not buying it.

Where I live, our streets and sidewalks are capped with ice.  You can't walk and enjoy anything.  My dogs had to forgo their walks as it is too dangerous.

There has been too many pile up car accidents and deaths.

I usually take two walks everyday, but unfortunally, this winter has made it impossible.  I am looking forward to spring.

I loved winter sports when I was a kid, but I have two bone on bone knees. I can't afford to fall on ice again and the cold makes my legs ache.  I guess I am officially an old lady.

Things are getting so much better.  Weather will be warmer next week, and mud season will start.  People are being told they can make plans for sports, graduations, vacations, weddings....even visits to nursing homes.  Sad that some still choose to live in dark places.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

I enjoy the winter .  Growing up in New England it's just part of us I guess.  I love to sit by the fireplace and watch it snow, as it's doing as I write this.........spring will be here soon, the days are already getting longer, it's all good.   I believe we are on the home stretch people!!!

My freezing TX and MO / KS friends appreciate your news! March winds are around the corner and will blow in April showers then May flowers. Trusting we'll have more freedom the last half of the year. Looking forward to it.

Agree and while due caution and utilization of good sense needs to be paramount, there seems to be an awful lot of hiding behind the pandemic going on. It often appears businesses are using it as an excuse for doing or not doing whatever they choose.

As for the seasons, yes, so it's been a rough winter. Summer is rough every year.
