Kind of interesting that Eugenie and Jack have not yet

released the name of their son.  I've read that his middle name will likely be "Stamp"; a Brooksbank family name, but no tidbits yet on the first name.

Yes, I realize many don't care, but I enjoy following the news on the royal babies.

I think odds are still on Arthur, but apparently Philip has moved up the list.  Patiently waiting...

It seems like they (all royals) want to create their own drama - about everything.

Perhaps they're waiting for the child's christening?  But I don't know when that will be.  In the meantime, they should call him "Postage."

They may be waiting for the Queen to give her approval of the name.

So when mom says, "Don't stamp your feet young man!"

Jr. can reply. "Sorry mama, but Stamp is my middle name!" Stamp stamp stamp. They did it to themselves lol.

@faeriemoon. It's quite possible that Her Majesty may have requested waiting as there has been a lot about the Royals in the news in recent days.  The baby boy has probably already been named and Her Majesty has approved.  The grandparents are said to be over the moon.  The rest of us will know when the parents decide to share.

The news of the birth may have been overshadowed by the other announcements made by the other Royal couple.  Just my opinion; but, I'm wondering about the name too.

The family history about "Stamp":

Stamp Brooksbank was born in 1694 in London. He passed away on May 24th, 1756.

He's an ancestor of Eugenie's husband and it's his middle name.  From an online article:

The 32-year-old groom was christened Jack Stamp Brooksbank by his parents George and Nicola, who of course will be attending tomorrow’s much-acclaimed wedding of their son and the Queen’s granddaughter in Windsor.

The name Stamp has been passed through the Brooksbank family having started in the 1600s when Mr Brooksbank’s ancestor, Stamp Brooksbank, was given the unusual name.

He was born in 1694 and was the Governor of the Bank of England and became a successful businessman too – having traded with Turkey and becoming a member of the New England Company in 1726.

From Wikipedia: Traditionally, a name is not announced until the Queen meets the newborn.

And given he was just born 7 days ago.....

I think they are the opposite of Eugenie's cousin, you know who I mean.

Personally I like the name Rubber.  I think Rubbie would be a cute nickname.

Has anyone seen a pic of the little guy?  I have only seen his little baby hand.
