Yes, I would let Susie's rudeness and immaturity just go out of your mind.  If Barb and you had a nice time, that's all that's really important.  Don't give Susie another thought.  You did a very nice thing for Barb.

After all of these months sounds to me that this neighbor might still be annoying you.  Is it the one who is giving you or your dh a hard time when walking the dog?  If so she sounds very immature and I would just ignore her.

@haddon9Yes the same person.  The lightbulb finally went off for me after I invited her over for about the 5th time.

I love my friends & there's always room for more.  She was the "new kid" on the block.  With what else has happened I smile & speak to the 2 new ladies but haven't gone farther than that. 

I also stopped making welcome gifts as we are selling and moving back to our last home city where I know alomst everyone.
