I was 4 years old when "I Love Lucy" first aired.

We had a sofa and and my Dad's easy chair in our livingroom, plus a small television. My mother said that whenever Lucy was getting in trouble with Ricky on the program, I would run behind my Dad's chair and put my hands over my eyes (not ears) until Ricky stopped yelling at her.

Kids do the darndest things. Still love Lucy.
