Maybe someone should do some research though and find out how many tens of millions of dollars the US government has paid out in EIC payments.

And that's not even always the case.  I do taxes and I've prepared returns where people don't pay in close to what they end up getting back, mostly due to the earned income credit.

I wasn't whining, but was accused...whatever. But so predictable. When challenged about the accuracy of her statements, the spin begins. You know, those EICs are a reimbursement for Medicare and SS payments. As if...

@magicmoodz I AM NOT AGITATED, JUST VERY CONFUSED. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. ALSO, MY CAP LOCK IS STUCK, LAPTOP IS OLD, SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW ONE LONG AGO.
