@gertrudecloset   Nothing in my response was Vaxx shaming. Trying to give a reasonable response to someone who has not received her vaccinations and seems to be hesitant to do so out of fear of side effects of the vaccines. There are still segments of the population that are not eligible for the Covid vaccination, children under 12 and they are at risk from contracting Covid from an unvaccinated individual who has Covid and spreads it.

@77yangyaThe CDC has issued a warning for a rare side affect that could happen primarily to younger men.  Though younger men are not the only group who have had myocarditis and pericarditis.  New guidance was issued as of last Wednesday.  These are inflammation types of the heart.  They do show the age cohorts, but I forget.  If you are interested in reading more about this and want to know the signs and symptoms to look out for, just head of to the CDC website for more info.

@gertrudecloset, but there were no lasting problems. And also, far, far more people have that side effect from Covid itself.

If someone refused to be vaccinated for whatever reason, that's their choice.

@suzyQ3not right now they say most people recover well from this inflammation.  Regardless, the more you know, the better so you can make an informed decision.  I do agree that there should be no vaxx or the not going to vaxx agitating posts.  It's no one's business.

We know all of this @50Mickey .  This subject has been debated and discussed ad nauseum on these forums.  Who will; who won't.  Why?  What others will and won't do.

Some people fear the side affects because they are alone

Some people fear the "unknown."  This is new to all of us

I would never put someone on the spot about getting the vaccine because I had a good experience.  Not every one will have the same experience.  She asked for experiences from people.  Why then ask other more personal questions as to her status?

I do think it's okay to cheer on people who are wavering, because I happen to think that the vaccine is essential to our health and well-being. I also think it's important to counter misinformation. Beyond that, there is nothing I or anyone else can do. @gertrudecloset

@suzyQ3It's not our place to do anything but inform (if we have information to share).  Cheering or not.  It simply means letting others do what's best for them.  It's their life.  They have to live it.  Cheering? Yip, yip hooray cheer?  No, just mind my own business and don't ask questions that don't matter to me from people I don't know about my personal health.

@gertrudecloset    For Pete's sake, I didn't ask her any personal questions other than what are you waiting on? If one makes the statement  that they may or may not get vaccinated they are inviting the question why not? If they don't want to answer this then keep this information to themselves.

@MW in Iowa   What are you waiting on? Get your vaccinations. This is really the only way for life to get back to normal. It was announced today that the research shows that these vaccinations will very likely produce immunity to Covid for several years. A day or two of fever and a headache is really nothing compared to what could happen to you if you are not vaccinated and contract Covid. Listen to the scientists.

@50Mickey  Your post is not vaxx shaming, you're sharing facts and information. Your last sentence proves that.

@77yangya

After Phizer #1 nothing to mention other than the weather. Walking the hospital parking lot, which is on top of a hill, with Wind Chill at a  -45°.
