Re: I Know This Was Mentioned Before

@Drythe I am expressing "MY OPINION" only that if she was seriously feeling ill it would advantageous to ask a professional.  I would give out that advice to any of our fellow Q family, wouldn't you.

After Phizer #1 nothing to mention other than the weather. Walking the hospital parking lot, which is on top of a hill, with Wind Chill at a  -45°.

@hckynut   Your post made me laugh out loud.  I know we don't live anywhere near each other, but the day my husband and I were scheduled for our first Moderna shot the weather here was brutal with high, freezing winds, we wonered if we'd survive the weather before we got to the building!  lol  Incidentally, neither of us had any side effects to either of our shots

@Mistreatedbycs

I am aware that you were expressing YOUR OPINION.

Now I am expressing MY OPINION.

NO that is NOT at all what you said.  You said-

“Something serious is going on with your body.”

NO, I would NEVER presume to make such a dire statement about someone's well-being based on posted information, and the fact that I am not her physician.  I would never presume to give medical advice to anyone else, or try to frighten them.

A simple suggestion that maybe one might want to talk personally to a Physician, is fine. Making a definitive statement about someone's health is not.

NOTE - many feel a bit queasy after a shot.

moving on.

I thought you are supposed to sit for at least 15 minutes so someone can treat you incase you fall ill.   Your reaction is nothing to laugh about, something serious is going on in your body.

You need to think about the 2nd shot is it really worth it?  I would consult an expert and not someone who tells you it's like mandatory.

Please be careful of these adverse effects.  Every person is different.

@Just Bling

I’m certain @yangya  thought this decision over very carefully before getting the first vaccination.

This fear mongering is not helpful.  You have no idea what is going on in her body, and to say “something serious is going on in your body” with no real information veering off into the land of giving medical advice.

Re: I Know This Was Mentioned Before

I had the Pfizer back in Febuary, just a sore upper arm after the first injection but after the second injection my same arm got really sore all the way down to my forearm and was really painful with lifting it for a few days. No other problems

I had Pfizer and had a sore arm after the second shot. I hope posts like this don't scare people from getting vaccinated.

Re: I Know This Was Mentioned Before

I want to sincerely thank everyone that responded to my question.  I mean it.

Thank you to ALL.

We did wait the 15 minutes.  They want people to wait because of an allergic reaction which is anaphylactic shock.  That's when the tongue and throat swell and you cannot breath but this is mainly caused by the mode of transition.  That is to say the way to get this vaccine into a person.  I did not have this happen to me.  It's just that my side effects began immediately but my immune system is VERY sensitive, I believe.

again.  THANK YOU   TO   ALL

I appreciate the responses. XXOO

Okay, we got the first phizer shot on Sunday.  My husband had no side effects.

I did.  After only a few minutes I began to get dizzy, have brain fog.  After a few hours I felt like I was coming down with upper respiratory infection.  I had slight headache, some malaise.

After around nine hours I was hit with nausea.  I sipped some ginger ale.  After an hour or so it went down but not gone.

Okay, it's Monday evening and I feel much better.  My husband still has no effects.  We both had sore arm.  That does not bother me and that's getting better.

Can anyone elaborate on their experience, please?  I'd appreciate it.  Seriously.  Thank you in advance.

I had just a sore arm after my first shot; I had one day of slight fever, muscle aches, and chills after the second.  That's it.

Everybody is different, but almost no one has serious or alarming reactions.

The fact that the number of cases in the country have been so greatly reduced is thanks primarily due to the vaccine.

Be sure to get your second shot.

Absolutely we will.  Thank you. XO

@77yangya   That's good to know.  I know after my second shot I felt such a relief that life was finaly getting back to normal.

I don't know anyone that got the Pfizer shot that had side effects.

I do.....any of the shots can cause side effects. For some folks, it can be very bad, while some, not at all.

Re: I Know This Was Mentioned Before

And yet , you are comparing symptoms !

You seriously didn’t just say some of the side effect may be  the result of the power of suggestion . Does this include your goose egg ?
