Okay, we got the first phizer shot on Sunday. My husband had no side effects.
I did. After only a few minutes I began to get dizzy, have brain fog. After a few hours I felt like I was coming down with upper respiratory infection. I had slight headache, some malaise.
After around nine hours I was hit with nausea. I sipped some ginger ale. After an hour or so it went down but not gone.
Okay, it's Monday evening and I feel much better. My husband still has no effects. We both had sore arm. That does not bother me and that's getting better.
Can anyone elaborate on their experience, please? I'd appreciate it. Seriously. Thank you in advance.

I've talked to people who had no side effects at all and some who got really sick. My hubs and I both had the Pfizer shot and we had sore arms for days, he got the chills really bad and had to sweat them out, I had bad muscle aches all over and a horrible headache. That was our experience. Be prepared though, if you had a reaction after the 1st shot you are more likely to have one after the 2nd shot (not always though).

I had just a sore arm after my first shot; I had one day of slight fever, muscle aches, and chills after the second. That's it.
Everybody is different, but almost no one has serious or alarming reactions.
The fact that the number of cases in the country have been so greatly reduced is thanks primarily due to the vaccine.
Be sure to get your second shot.

I don't know anyone that got the Pfizer shot that had side effects.

I had the Moderna vaccine. 1 and 1/2 days of fever, headache and nausea. Then it was over. Small price to pay to keep from getting ill, hospitalized and possibly dying from Covid.

Sore arm and tired after first shot. Headache, chills and very tired the evening of second shot. Felt better and only had a sore arm the next day.

After a few minutes....................they should of kept you.
I thought you are supposed to sit for at least 15 minutes so someone can treat you incase you fall ill. Your reaction is nothing to laugh about, something serious is going on in your body.
You need to think about the 2nd shot is it really worth it? I would consult an expert and not someone who tells you it's like mandatory.
Please be careful of these adverse effects. Every person is different.

I had no side effects after the first shot, nothing at all. After the second shot, I felt fine. Then, that night I woke up around 3 am to go to the bathroom (this is typical) and when I did, I felt shooting pains and aches in some of my joints, the kind of feeling you get when you are coming down with the flu. I knew right away it was a reaction. The aches and pains continued into the next day and that day I also felt kind of weak and woozy. But, by the next day, I felt almost completely normal.
My husband had no side effects from either the first or second shot, lucky him.

I had Moderna; no effect whatsoever with first shot. About a week after second shot, got a goose egg on my arm that itched a few days but never was sore.
I think some of these side-effects may be the result of the power of suggestion. Why people insist on comparing symptoms is a mystery.

The second shot is worth it. She didn't have anything that sounded serious. they keep people for a few minutes to make sure that they don't have a dangerous allergic reaction that needs an antidote, whose name I can't recall.
And she's fine now. But she would not have the best immunity if she skips the second shot. It is crucial.
