I should find out in two weeks whether I get the promotion or not.

I forgot how nerve-wracking interviews are!

It was a conference call with me, and the two interviewers, each in a different location.

I had notes with me, and I tried to answer as best I could, but I know that some of my answers sounded weak, at least, to me they did.

If nothing else, this was a learning experience for me, and even if I don't get the promotion, I'll know what to expect for the next time, and there will be a "next time".

There were five questions, and the whole thing took about 35 - 45 minutes.

At the end, I thanked them for taking the time out of their schedules, to at least consider me for the position, and I wished them a happy Thanksgiving.

It sounds like you did well, especially for it being your first phone interview. Also you ended the conversation very nicely. Good luck to you and I hope you get the job!

Good luck to you.  It sounds like you are going into this with a great attitude.  One bit of advice, send them a thank you note.  Does not need to be written, email will suffice.  Thank them again and stress your fit for the job and your interest.

You never know, if it is between you and someone else, it may get you the job.

Sounds like you did great.  More often than not we are harder on ourselves than others are.  

I have been in many interviews in my life and the most difficult ones were phone interviews because you don't get to read the body language or have much of a personal connection.

I do wish you the best.  You have an amazing outlook on all of this.
