The Unmarked car pulls up....throws the box or boxes out....like it was on fire...and drives off...Doesn't put them on the porch..doesn't ring the bell....doesn't knock...just drops and runs...
I have had heavy items that I now have to go out and lug up the stairs and bring inside...worst part is;..if I am not going out for the day...it sits outside and I am unaware its even out there...
Today was a good example....if I didn't go out to take some recycling....I would not have known my purse was delivered..its not visiable unless on step out on the porch...and look down the steps...would never had seen it through the door window...
I am wondering if any of you have had problems with this new way they deliver....

Never heard of this before, so no, I can't imagine anything has been delivered to me by that company.

@circles Yes, I've had the same experience. But I am trying to enjoy my Friday and not think about it, LOL. There are a few threads on this. Hope you like the purse.

There was a recent thread complaining about them. I haven't experienced them yet.

I never heard of Lasership. I had to google it, to find out they only deliver to east coast.
Who is using this service...QVC?

I've had a couple of recent deliveries by LaserShip. In all cases, they came in a white car with their logo on the side. But beyond that, they just throw the item on my little front porch and don't bother to ring the bell. Fortunately, most of my LaserShip items are from Amazon and they text me when an item has been delivered. Otherwise, I'd have to keep checking. They are definitely not my favorite carrier.
But having said that, I'm sure the drivers are following explicit instructions from their employer and are probably on a very tight rein as to delivery times. Hence, not even allowed to go ring the doorbell. (Just my guessing here.)

So its unimportant if the boxes sit out in all kinds of bad weather...or it could get stolen off the porch/landing...people could be out of town...I don't like that....
I think once everyone starts having this poor ship system...there will be many complaints...especially if any of the items i listed happens to them....

Bad service is not exclusive to this service. Many people have had similar issues with other carriers -- including UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex.
The fact is that as people have more and more things delivered to their homes while demanding cheap shipping, services will cut corners. UPS has announced its rates are going up, and I would not be surprised if we see other services follow.
While we may not like how these services are handling our deliveries, unless we are willing to spnd money for good services, there will be no improviements. Like so many other things in life, people want five star service while paying cut-rate prices. Life just does not work like that.

NBC news just did a story on package delivery - Last year UPS delivered 14 million packages every day and expects that number to be up 50% within a few years. They're overwhelmed for sure.
I never thought of some of the problems they mentioned - apartment houses that don't have storage room to hold the many packages from all their tenants and the same problem at some college dorms.
Makes me happy I don't want much this holiday season.
