I Don't Know If You Will Admit This..

Do you clip cents-off coupons? Do you use them? Do you go to sales at department stores or to the clearance racks occasionally. I ask because I have run into a number of young people 16-25 who are appalled that anyone would humiliate themselves using coupons. I've been told that it's humiliating and embarrassing to use coupons as it indicates that you can't afford to really pay the price that a store asks. Also, the youth wouldn't ever be caught dead (not even in their coffins as I'm told) browsing a clearance rack or section and purposely attending a sale event. I live in Los Angeles so maybe its just my region that reflects this attitude but I use cents-off coupons for select items I purchase and I will check in to a sale now and then. Is it just the youth?
