Re: I Can't Bring Myself To Go In That Store

@CrazyKittyLvr2

I think that it would bother me the first couple of times I shopped there after the incident.  But it wouldn't keep me away, and I think it would get less and less important to me as time went on.  Given that the perpetrator is dead, I would have no concerns about safety.

Re: I Can't Bring Myself To Go In That Store

We have a Subway sandwich shop in town where several years back a worker was brought in the back and executed. The shop was robbed. I can't bring myself to ever go in that store. I think about that poor man when I ride by the store. Such a horrible thing happened there.

@conlt

There is a fast food outlet in this area that had a similar incident.  Former employee came back after closing to rob the place.  He ended up killing (with a knife) a very young woman who was the assistent manager.  The crime and the trial were big news and I can't help but think of her sometimes when I pass that place.  But I didn't eat there before or after, so it didn't affect me that much.

I feel the same as you do. I wouldn't be able to go back there either. I'm a sensitive person and something like that would really bother me.

I used to live near a Walmart Supercenter and l loved that store. Prices were cheaper there than any store around.

Now l live in another city and the Walmart is run down so no more shopping at Walmart unfortunately!

I understand what you're saying.  It would be very unsettling for me to shop there as well.

That being said, I would probably be upset and thinking about what happened there the first few times I go, but after that, I'd probably get past it.

You have to do what's best for you.  However, I would give it a couple of tries and then see how I feel.

@EastCoastGal   It isn't that I'm super sensitive all though I feel terrible for anyone harmed or killed.

Weirdly I love true crime shows and the podcast My Favorite Murder. If I could do my life over again I would go into forensics  in some capacity.

I can't figure out my thing with this store.
