I think that CNN is slowly returning to their normal programming.

As tragic as it was, life does still go on.

After all, when that airplane went missing, (my apologies, I can't remember the name off of the top of my head right now), CNN was covering it for like a month straight, at least! 

It wasn't until they were publicly embarrassed by being the butt of several jokes, that they finally cut back on coverage.

So just how long should they have non-stop, wall-to-wall, 24/7 coverage?

A month?

Six months?

A year?

Four years?

After awhile, all they are doing is just repeating the same thing over and over again.

Just because CNN took one hour out of the non-stop coverage, doesn't mean that they don't care, or whatever it is you think it means when they showed Anthony B.

Also, sometimes there is just no new news to report.

They've been broadcasting out of Paris non stop. Perhaps there are no new things to report as of now. Why should they keep reporting speculation. They've shown some of the same footage over and over and over. Time for a rest for the whole extensive crew.

I was surprised they went to Anthony's show too. But they're back to broadcasting live from Paris now.

24/7 coverage is just what the terrorists want...

It's far better, IMO, to go back to regular programming unless there are new developments.

I had been watching FOX NEWS, and they are always good---except when Shepherd Smith starts with his long winded florid descriptions---TIRING.  The journalists though are very good and so are their connections.  Otherwise, I added CNN to the mix.

ITA. Plus it feeds into the fear and terror. It also gives them information as well.
