I am breaking out my ol' trusty Crock-Pot, and making a batch of beef stew.
In it are chunks of browned beef
browned ox-tail
minced and crushed garlic
potatoes
yellow onion
carrots
wosterchire sauce
bay leaves
beef broth
burgandy
salt & pepper
I never measure my ingrediants, I just put stuff in until it looks like there's enough.
I have the Crock-Pot set for eight hours, but my mouth is already watering!

That's what I had! Not as fancy as yours (beef, sweet potato and broth) but my pressure cooker is my favorite appliance these days.

@Anonymous032819 Thanks for the recipe! Do you find that oxtail is more expensive than it should be? In my area it is. Also, just a hint, there is a Recipes forum you might want to post this on. I love visiting that forum for so many reasons - where to find new recipes, ingredients, substitutions, recipe swaps, all sorts of things.

Yes, the tail was more expensive that it hould have been, but I don't make stew all that often, so to me, it's worth the money.

Oxtails and beef shanks are both more expensive than they should be.

That is how I make some of my things, too!
I wish I were making soup or chili. It was 81 degrees here today and misty, so it's too hot and humid for soup. I'm not ready for winter to be over yet!
