I hate winter and I am always cold.  It has nothing to do with age, I have always been this way.

During the day, our heat is kept at 74 and turned down to 70 overnight.

I have an electric heated throw that I wrap around me in the living room whenever I am home.

I can't wait for warm and even hot weather.  Hurry up spring.

@Shelbelle .  I do exactly as you do.  Even my thetmostat.  I layer in the day, but sleeping is nice under the covers with a lower temp in the house  Have always been like that.

I am in New York.  On Long Island

I love this time of year. Sure is better than 100 degrees plus for months on end. We can actually go outside and enjoy the weather, and sometimes rain. Summer is our hibernation season. It gets chilly but I know what's coming and it isn't pleasant.

North Jersey here and it's been at least 10 degrees colder than normal most days since well before Thanksgiving. And many days with a nasty bitter cold wind. Also, 2 plowable snow storms and several more of an inch or two. Not comfortable!

I'm always bundled in layers while in the house and bought an electric heated throw last year. I love how toasty I feel when I'm sitting reading or watching TV.  I've never had an electric blanket for my bed cuz I sleep hot but the electric throw really thaws me out when it's bone-chilling out.

Supposed to be in the 40s next week - hooray!!

Girl, I am with you.  I cannot get warm.  I said this is turning out to be an old fashioned winter it seems. I'm in western Connecticut and the last time I remember being this cold with show consistently on the ground was when I was in high school!. I think I'll order one of those heated throws.  I can't stand this.

Me too - I'm always cold!

I have the temperature set at 73 and I'm always cold.   Last year I could wear short sleeves and capris in the house now I'm wearing fleece sweats and a scarf around my neck and still cold.

I have lost 40 pounds this year so I'm thinking perhaps that's what is causing the change between this year and last year???

We have had below zero nights. For me, it's that damp cold that chills me to the bone.

I have the same one by my desk and it is wonderful to help me get warm.  It's an added plus that is is such a pretty lantern.  I am also always cold.  Darned thyroid and the resulting cold to the bone feeling.

A few days ago, someone gave me an electric heating throw.

It sure is handy and it's keeping my bones very comfortable.

Not an electric blanket, an electric throw.

My bones sure do appreciate it.
