December was below normal temps the whole month.  January is starting out the same.

I am bundled up and still cold.  The thermostat is set at 68.  Yes, I could jack it up but have already spent a wad of money on heat. Usually, I'm good at that setting but for some reason today I can't get warm.  DD said she is fine and added, "it must be you".  Maybe it is my age. I feel fine so I don't think I'm getting cootied.

We are to have a warm up starting Tuesday,  All the way to the 40s.  I'll take it. The weather guy on our local station said the "warm up" should last 8-10 days.

Everyone stay warm. BTW, I'm in NE PA.

There are many reasons why people feel colder as they age. Sometimes it is a slower metabolism or thinner layer of body fat, among other reasons. It does not mean you are sick. Have you ever considered a small heater for the room you are in?

I think the humidity level also plays a part. Sometimes that damp coldness gets in your bones and it's hard to shake. That's when I have a hot cup of green tea.

I don't mind the cold weather,  I seem to have more energy than when it is hot and humid, ugh!   My motivation level to be out and about seems to rise when Autumn and Winter roll around!

I HATE WINTER. I HATE BEING COLD. I HAVE ZERO MOTIVATION TO DO ANYTHING.

I agree this December was too cold. Have adjusted my thermostat to 72 from 9:00a.m. until 3:00 p.m. then down to 65 for the evening. Sleep under down blanket with sweatshirt to keep core warm.

How many days until Spring? Too many!!

It's cold here too in the Midwest. I started sleeping with cotton socks and an extra blanket and that seems to help me keep warm. We usually keep the temp at 66.

Mine is also set at 68, I try to sear warm layers in house.

I'm cold a lot too!  I have to sleep in a cool room but late in the afternoon & early evening I'm always freezing!  It doesn't help looking out the window and always seeing ice or snow coating everything.

I'm in SE PA.
