I Always Feel a Sense of Letdown After the 4th

It seems every Jan. 1, things build up towards the 4th of July. Then on July 5, it always feels as though summer is already more than half over and were sliding into fall. I mean, think about it. In just 30 short days, tonight will just be a distant memory. People will be preparing to go back to school, then it's Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and before you know it, Christmas.

Where DOES the time go?
