@Bonkers1 , I like that 'do it now" .  It reminds me of the scene from "The Devil Wears Prada "  when Miranda tells  Andy to call Emily about  the trip to Paris.  Miranda says do it, do it now.   Looking forward to The Devil Wears Prada 2

@Mom2Dogs  As a therapist, I attended many training sessions about hypnosis and it's use in therapy.  They had us agree to try hypnosis ourselves and I was not a candidate for it.  Would not work in me.

I have given up sugar many years ago, will rarely eat anything with sugar in it- usually my 2 grandchildren's birthday cakes, pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, and that's basically it.  Will make desserts for myself with no sugar if wanting to indulge.  My suggestion would be to just try it.  When I did, it was rough for the first week, then the cravings went away, and I felt better.  Give it a try for a week- you can always go back to sugar if it doesn't work for you.  I personally wouldn't pay for any program that promises to wwork on this issue.

Has anyone seen Chase Hughes' video on YouTube about who will most likely to be suseptible to hypnosis?

Fascinating.

I would post the link here, but you all know by now QVC hates that (and I've been put into time-out before for it!)

My friend went to a group session. It was less expensive than individual sessions. She filled out a questionnaire. Each individual later was supplied with a personalized CD and they were instructed to play the CD in a tranquil setting each night. It worked for her. I think like many things, if wanting to break a habit, you have to put the work in.

Congratulations on deciding that sugar, or any other sweetener, is not healthy.  You can do this!  Just put your mind on it and get it all out of the house.  We are all waving to you from the other side.

I personally have never tried it, but I do know someone who went to quit smoking and it did work for her. Now, she had tried other things to quit, the gum, the patch, etc..

Nothing worked, but she really wanted to quit, so she decided to try Hypnosis and for her it did work, that was over 20 years ago and she is still a non-smoker!

I think for her she had tried other things that didn't work and she wanted to quit so bad and that helped in her journey.

It is probably worth a try for you!

My sister swore by hypnosis that helped her quit smoking. I think it’s a matter of suggestibility.
