Hurricane Tracker

[ Edited ]

This is projected path up East Coast as of Wednesday.

http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/storm-tracker/

Looks like swerving away toward the Atlantic via  Maryland Eastern Shore.  But others paths suggest Michael will come closer to middle of Maryland.  This is CNN's

Consolation:  Looks like it will miss Charleston, and other Eastern parts of South Carolina.  Heavy storms are forecasted for tomorrow in Maryland.

Unlike Frances, this storm will move quickly once past the panhandle of Florida.  Should zip up the East Coast.

Thanks @songbird  We are out today due to the weather.  I'm near Columbus GA- they said the mayor of Columbus just asked for people not to be on the road  after 3 if they can help it.   Just minor rain so far.

Another good site for tracking, public information and bulletins. National hurricane center from NOAA.

The focus "now" is what it is doing to the Panama City area, parts of AL!  That's what we should be concerned with now!!!

We are on Marylands eastern shore. Beach forecasts are tropical storm winds and high surf. Inland, windy and rainy. If the rain and wind isn’t  too bad, we may take a quick ride down to the beach to watch the surf. It usually churns like a washing machine. But it looks like its curving further south toward virginias beaches, so we will see.

@SouthernBeeStay safe!  The weatherman says the worst will be here between 7 and midnight.  The wind is picking up a bit here.  I hope the power does not go out.  I did go get some ice and charging up the phone and Ipad in case it does.

@Roni18: Stay safe. We have plenty staples, charging iPad. Just notified our newspaper will delivered by 9 pm. Thankfully we had all of our pine trees cut down. Neighbors on backside of house has pine trees but if they come down will only damage our fence and not the house. Southern Bee
