Heightwise I fall into the Petite Category however I am short waisted and  most all petite pants are too short for me.

The word petite means small. Some designers/manufacturers seem to think petite is more appealing than short so they use it for all sizes. A person who is 5'2" and a 2x is not petite, she is short.

Confusing because tall is tall no matter if she's an extra small or extra large. So they must think that being tall is good but short is not good while being small/petite is acceptable.

Petite to me means small frame and under 5'4.

I've always wondered how the flat earth society explains the sunrise and sunset every day?  Unless we are being flipped like a pancake, it wouldn't happen.

I'm 5'......need petite for the inseam.  Don't need any extra fabric sticking out in front of me when I sit down......  You know what I mean by that.

Have found some nice Alfred Dunner cords in a PPM....  They are perfect for me.  Ordered 3 pairs.  

I have ordered quite a few pants from Shop National and D&C pants from the Q.....  All the petites have been perfect.  So, will continue ordering the way I have been.

For us people that have short legs, petite sounds better!
