Look, I don't think this woman is elderly, nor is she in a nursing home. If I remember correctly Jules met this woman at the nursing home because her mother is a resident. (Met while Jules' father was a resident).

The woman is somewhat older than Jules, but not elderly. Jules has taken both the woman and her mother (the resident of the nursing home) out before. I believe Jules treated them to lunch on Mother's Day at the Red Lobster.

We can speculate on scenarios all we want, but it doesn't make them true.

I can understand why Jules was somewhat disappointed.

As far as Jules being shown on the members list, that doesn't mean anything. I never sign out, doesn't mean I am physically here.

I hope Jules has enjoyed the remainder of her day with Mia.

The lady is in need of a walker & can't drive. & tried to do a kindness. & if you show up on the Members Online it means you've been signed in & checking, it was talked about on another thread a few months ago.But yes I said in one of my posts we only know 1 side of the story

Voyager, I never sign out of VPs when I decide to stop posting. Every few day the system kicks me out and I have to sign in again.

No, it doesn't mean that at all. I frequently leave myself signed in for hours while i attend to other things in the house, or I open another window online to write or take care of business online.

well...........if she qualifies for a seniors citizen discount at lunch, she's no spring chicken either............she has to use a walker which would tell me she probably has a good sum of money going out in medical expenses..............be that as it may.............the one thing no one can fault this woman for is.....................remember Jules birthday.......on her own, without any prompting by reading a post posted somewhere......and how many people can Jules say that about.........if I were Jules, I'd give that some thought and consideration.............................raven

Another reason I don't sign out routinely is because it's a PITA to sign in. Maybe I have too many cookies going at once, I don't know, but once I sign out it can be VERY frustrating to just TRY to sign back in.

Much easier to just leave yourself signed in.

Absolutely not. I leave myself signed in for hours and never check in. I don't even know what refreshing it means.

If I am posting or reading at 11:30 pm and go to bed I am still signed in at 8:30 am. I can leave here to run errands for several hours and I am still signed in when I get back.
