How's Your Lawn?

Even with our trees, it's pretty scorched--worse for neighbors with unshaded areas. Even the lawn dudes haven't been around in 2 weeks. We used to water the lawn in drought periods, but stopped that about 10 years ago. I water the flower beds, though (of course, if we had new plantings/trees, we'd water them). When stressed, the lawn goes dormant and comes back just fine either after a sustained rainy period or in the spring, after the winter snow.
