How often do you call your Mother!

Im just curious,my mother never calls me, I do all the calling an then when I do call in two or three weeks she will say something like hey stranger or I was going to call you,my bithday past Jan 3 no phone call for me or my brothers birthday.She never call for her grandkids,their adults now but do not hve a close relationship,#ell I dont have a close relationship with her,other issues,things that just bug me.thanks for your thoughts
