Too many when it comes to the electric bill.

One in each bedroom -4

One in the sunroom

One in the den

One in the Living room

One in the sunroom

One is the garage (to watch when working on my pet projects)

9 total but none are 60 inch TV's

I've found that over the years we (now I) decreased the number of tvs and now I'm down to just one, since my older one stopped working. And honestly I think I'll stay with one although I'll probably update it -- it's old, too! For one thing, I agree that it's easy to use my iPad for some of the things I want to watch. But also, I think this year I want to focus on less tv noise and more listening to music... or just hearing the sounds of nature or just listening to the silence.

I know a widow who lives alone - well except for a yorkie - she has a tv in every room and has them all on all the time. She is hard of hearing and plays them loud. The noise pollution in her house is awful.
