Can't wait!

I love the days getting longer in the spring anyway, and the change of the clocks to advance the daylight more to the evening really picks up my spirits.

I wish we would stay on daylight savings time year round. I do know that it would make it very dark in the early morning (wintertime) for rush hours and kids getting to school, which isn't really a great thing, and one good reason not to have it year round, but if I could change mother nature, I'd make the sun rise every day no later than 6 am and stay light until after 9 pm. The more light a day has, the better I feel both physically and mentally.

@MominohioSeasonal Affective Disorder is real!  Many people suffer with it.  I think I do.  I hate darkness at 4:30p.m.

Re: How many of you are waiting for the.......

Ok first of all, we all know I'm right😄

The sun should come up no later than 5:30 am.And it is only in the twilight zone that it is still light at 9pm. This is unnatural and should not be allowed!

2nd of all - Did you all know there is the opposite of seasonal affective disorder for those who need more light?! There is the same for those who have it in the summer as those who have it in the winter! True!

I am most happy and energetic in my favorite seasons, the winter then fall.

I used to really dislike spring. Everyone talks about new life, the flowers blah blah supposed to be so happy but what if you are not?!😜

But then I started to appreciate it a little more when there are some places with such beautiful flowering trees and flowers.

 summers now?-forgeddaboutit!

They used to be nice and hot-"lazy crazy days of summer under the boardwalk" but now-why not take a dripping bath everytime outside because of humidity?-awful!

Speaking of flowers-oh weren't we lol?!

We started having these beautiful daffodils that bloom in the wild over the hill. My daughter pointed them out again and I was thinking oh maybe I"ll pick her one.

So I looked them up out of curiosity

and every single part of a daffodil is toxic! Esp the bulb .She said well she wasn't planning on eating it.  But they can also cause skin irritation so it's not just eating them. So keep away from pets and children.

I have already posted my views on daylight savings time-I don't like to even say the words!

And I don't think any threads can be totally contained to one subject as we see right here!😅

Re: How many of you are waiting for the.......

They take back the hour we got in November.  They take it this weekend.  I like when it gets dark early.  More cozy.  I'm not afraid of the dark.
