@millieshops yes, this is an excellent price. If I waited to buy an electronic item to get the latest version I would have my hair on fire keeping up with all the fast paced changes and still not have bought anything.

Blankette...

Over 35,000 poor tired old schepps just spent over $13 mil in less than 24 hours. Seems to me that the Q and Bose are doing something right, making you a bit of a poor tired old fogey. Oh well, poor you - more for us old schlepps...

HSN sells Bose also. I do have a bose radio/cd player and you cannot beat the sound.  I purchased years ago from Bose directly.  I know I paid more back then.  I think HSN has  been selling computers all day.  Evine is doing electronics and swagways.  Oh well I guess electronics are big sellers during Christmas.  I think Evine is selling a lot of Swagways.  I have a friend who has one.  They are fun. Not fun enough for me to buy one lol.

Turn the channel.  problem solved.

QVC exists to sell products and make money not entertain us and alleviate our boredom.

i really like the BOSE brand.......i just bought my third one a couple of weeks ago on hsn. they had the same model that qvc has, but in more colors, with 12 month financing, and they added in an over the ear headphone.

LOL i am probably not finished buying them.......but will wait until they have another one NEXT holiday season 2016.

I saw that -- it was a GREAT deal.  I hope it gives you years of good listening!

I figured BOSE jumped ship and would be sold at HSN from now on.  Isn't it odd that both of the shopping channels are offering the same brand?   I haven't really seen that before.

Hopefully, it will be on for years: Bose is the best!

(My son purchased his from HSN, and I received the one he's had forever. Win/Win.)

Been an audiophile since the 1950's and have owned many brands of top name equipment. Bose, in my opinion, has never met my criteria for being among the top brands, thus I have never and will never own any of their audio equipment.

Heavy advertising got them " name recognition " and with that they were/are able to sell what I view as inferior products for a way too high of a price.  There are many that love their "all-in-one" audio devices, many I believe because of their simplicity as opposed to their sound reproduction quality.

I prefer spending a whole lot less money for separate pieces of audio equipment, that to my ears, produces much more audio reproduction accuracy than any Bose system I have ever heard. A multi-component audio system offers me more placement options than any Bose "all-in-one", thus a more precise audio presence and accuracy. Not simplistic like Bose, but better sound reproduction for about half the price.

Re: How many more years will Bose be on?

Like hckynutjohn, I always thought using many components and doing my own mixing was the way to go. However, I ordered the Bose because I need something with a small footprint for my new, small entertainment space. Enter the Bose Wave III...

All I can say is WOW! I've been playing it non-stop for the last two days. Even my dog prefers his special CD on the Bose. And the radio works perfectly without the extra antenna I bought just in case. I live hundreds of miles, across a high mountain range, from any radio stations.

I'm even considering a second Wave Radio for my bedroom, knowing that I'll probably have to pay full price for it. This was defintely an experiment that paid off!
