How many times a year would be the more appropriate question in my case. The answer is 2 or 3 (not inlcuidng using an iron-on patch for someting).
I don't do laundry either. I take it to the laundromat and pick it up cleaned and folded the next day. They fold neatly, which negates the need to iron most stuff. I can live with a few wrinkles.
For stuff that really needs to be ironed (a few summer pieces) I will iron them once or twice over the season before I give up wearing them, or just live with the wrinkles. The other time I'll iron is when I'm switching summer/winter clothes (either way) and some piece is just a balled-up mess after taking it out of the space bag (no, I don't neatly fold many clothes. Start out folding, end up stuffing).
I have a steamer that I bought for my floors. It has an attachment for clothes, but that is way more trouble than it is worth. I do not own an ironing board, so I just find a flat surface and throw a towed over it to iron.

One and done. LOL

Unless we have some place special to go, zero.
Since my husband retired if I take the iron out 4 times a year, it's a lot.

Believe it or not, I have never ironed. I don't know how to use one, I don't know how you do it. In my world, that is what the dry cleaner is for.

@BirkiLady I can't imagine! LOL
In contrast..... a quick story .... Five years ago my handyman (who is very skilled and does much more than little jobs) was building a new shower for me. His wife was out of town helping his sister with something. It was the first time in 30 years that he'd been left home without her, and he had to do the laundry for the first time.
He told me that he never realized how hard it is to fold fitted sheets. I told him that it was because he was doing it wrong. He perked up, paying close attention to the words of wisdom I was about bestow upon him. I told him it is very simple and easy. When you take the sheets out of the dryer, you put them back on the bed! Works for me every time! LOL

@Peaches McPhee That only happens to me when clothes get wound up in the sheets.
A couple suggestions....
That should cut down on a lot of work.

@Meowingkitty ... I do the same thing.
@Meowingkitty wrote:Basically when I buy clothes if in doubt I will wad up a section of it in the store and if it wrinkles that item stays in the store.

None. I stopped ironing many years ago. If anything needs ironing, I do not buy it. It’s a deal breaker.
