Checks last me a long time. I write maybe 3 checks a month. The rest of my bills get paid online.

Oh, oops! Sorry. I thought it was about the checkbook.
Like others, a box of checks now lasts me approximately forever and a day.
I write one to two checks a year. Now that they give everybody a debit card with their checking account is't nice that you don't have to buy all those checks anymore!

I didn't get a box. I just got one book of checks, ie 25 checks. That's what has lasted ten years.
I've been trying to use them up recently, because we moved and I want to get a new one with our new address on.

On the back of the checkbook they have a calendar for three years. I always go past the last year.

I'm right about the same as you, gazelle.

Oh please......why do you think that way?????
It's a horribly antiquated process. Takes ALOT of man-hours to process that little piece of paper. In time, it'll take its place next to the rotary phone, leaded gas & 8-track tapes.

I still write checks also, maybe around 7 a month for our bills. We have one account that is done by automatic withdrawal each month which is for retirement fund. I am just not comfortable with paying on line yet. Too much info could be shared.

I write about 5 checks a month. Sometimes more. Most checks I write go to services, such as lawn care, horse boarding, pool guy, etc...
I've started using cash more often than credit cards and checks. What I don't like about checks is the routing number and account number, plus name address phone number is there, plain as day. I think it could be easy to abuse.

I hate writing checks. I don't hate paying bills, but would rather do it online. I'd much rather use plastic cards than write checks.
i believe it has been longer than that since i ordered our last checks and i still have some left!
