Been nasty for days now. I don't think this city has but a handful of snow plows. It's been not safe out there for drivers since Thursday. Additional problem is that drivers think they can drive in snow/ice without chains.

Last night we had freezing rain, so got additional ice. This morning received a reverse 9-1-1 call from the city saying "stay home."

We have seen a number of cross country skiers and folks driving ATVs towing tobbogans (sp?) in the neighborhood. We need to get out of here tomorrow to pick up DD and GD at the airport. Am hoping temps will rise as predicted.

Yeh, right...

I'm in SE Michigan - sunny, about 20 degrees or so and it stopped snowing mid-morning. Beautiful day!

A perfectly beautiful day in my little piece of paradise today. There has been plenty of rain this season and things are nice and green with many a rainbow too.

Snowing like crazy......temp is only 27......don't believe it has gotten above that all day. Everything is getting a fresh covering of that white stuff......
