It's only 100 now (@ 8PM). Feels downright refreshing ...LOL I might get some cold water through my pipes soon. This has been awful.

6 pm in Phoenix and it's 111. The low will be near 90. But the humidity is very low.

It is so hot, the water coming out of my garden hose is too hot to touch.
My lawn burns my feet if I walk barefoot on it...forget the pavement...
My dog won't go out when I open the door....

It's 93 here in Sparks,Nv. We have smoke from the fires in California. I'm worried about the really old Trees in Yosemite, some are thousands of years old.

We have the same problem every summer. Our water pipes are in the attic, so no cold water until fall.

Water pipes here are buried deep in the ground so they don't freeze in the winter. The only place where they are above ground is when they come inside my house which is in my basement. The water doesn't get hot down there because my basement is insulated and so are my water pipes.
