I don't use Wen but I like the Wenners - they are so happy and enthusiastic about their product that every once in a while I read their threads and, of course, that gets me thinking about using it. Maybe someday I will - they have a horse named Wen Dooters (honestly!) who is bathed in it and I would use it on my horse if it rinses out easily. I hate spending more time rinsing shampoo off of my horse than I spend washing him. I would rather clean stalls than bathe my horse.

well, I bought it due to the before and after pictures. I know there is a false representation to most of them but the before picture I saw was thinning hair and very wide part. I have also read reviews on how wen will help with that. so I purchased. Chaz's hair turns me off more than the models pictures would.

I use Wen and have had great results plus always use a small amount on towel dried hair before I use my dryer. When I've used too much on towel dried hair hair, it will feel greasy but can be easily refreshed just by wetting it down a little bit and running your fingers through and that's it. Very easy resolution.

Get away with what? Even without the disclaimer, women are NOT stupid. We all know that the "after" on the WEN shows, on all the hair care shows is "after" blow drying and styling. By a professional. No one thinks WEN girls use the product and voila! Long, thick, flowing, smooth, luscious tresses. We all know WEN can't turn "bad" hair into "perfect" hair. I'm not saying that WEN dosen't have it's benefits but Chaz is selling products, a whole lot of uber expensive products and he's going to use all the tricks of the trade. And there's nothing wrong with that.

From what I read on this board WEN does help people who have damaged their hair with dyes, perms or other chemicals etc. I doubt it has anything to offer to those who have healthy hair, except for keeping the color longer, they claim. However - your hair would need dyed every few weeks to cover the new growth anyway, no?

It appears that a few folks here completely have their little circuits blown if the least bit of snark or sarcasm or "ooomph" is expressed along with an opinion.
I have to admit, I've been participating in chat and debate forums for 20 years, but I've never seen such a weak sister retort as "you must be having a bad day/life/Monday" when someone states an opinion that's not the same as theirs.
The OP was fine. The "scary and stupid" bit? meh... If that's the worst thing someone says in an online forum, your life must be very charmed and simple if that causes that big an uproar.

Me too. I wasn't sure if we were allowed to mention other product lines. My primary debate forum doesn't, so I figured better safe than sorry.

Doesn't hair always look better after it has been done by a pro regardless of the shampoo they use?
I have never used this WEN stuff, and from what I have read online, I probably never will.

I agree - along with falling out hair and the huge expense of it - it seems to be a real Pain to use - all those pumps and various additional things like conditioners and oils. Pass me. Then there was my neice who had to have it cleaned off the walls of her septic system because it was causing the entire septic tank to be clogged.Cost mega bucks to get that done.
