Re: How does Chaz and QVC get away with this?

I have never seen a before and after that was equally photographed. Smiles, makeup, pose, hair styling.

It is what it is- and we should all know that by now, I would think.

I tried Wen for the first time last month. I like that it doesn't strip my hair coloring, which many promise but don't deliver. Unfortunately, I don't live near any soybean farmers, but I keep hoping.

Re: How does Chaz and QVC get away with this?

Same way Apple does when they get millions of people to spend 600+ for a new telephone every other year. Are their lives really easier and better after they buy?

Shoppers get to say Yes or No - always have, always will. In fact, that's the JOB of a shopper.

If you carry OP's rant to its most logical conclusion, companies would sell ONE cleanser or shampoo or whatever WEN is. No reason for them to let people have a choice, is there?

Same with cars - let's have just one - all the same color, too. Don't bother test driving it - you might put different gas into yours or accelerate more often than the mpg figures are based on.

And while we're at it, how do QVC and Louis or Lori or Susan get away with making us buyers choose from so many clothes by showing them on models dressed perfectly from head to toe. Throw us a big caftan and let us wear it everywhere we go! Don't let us choose.

Sorry for the rant, but, really, I'm obviously old and cranky today and just can't stand another post blaming companies for trying to persuade shoppers to shop. That's their JOB! Listen to music if you don't want to watch or don't know how to separate the wheat from the chaff and say no when you need to.

Re: How does Chaz and QVC get away with this?

I haven't shampooed my hair in...several years (around 8 if I recall correctly), with the exception of when I get it cut and forget to tell the hairstylist not to use shampoo. I use regular conditioner (the purple one with the cute Kangaroo, the more body one), and get the same results as this guy claims for his product.

That said, I love the conditioner only way of cleansing hair and I really would buy his product if it weren't so darned expensive. It really does make your hair softer, more manageable and so on.

If you can afford it, go for it.

I think you have a valid point. Not sure why some can't allow you to express it, without the mocking.

It could have been a valid point if the OP had not accused people who use the product of being scary and stupid.

O/T...I'm wondering if it's worth $400.00 a year if you go by the gallon product featured today. You get two deliveries 6 months apart for $199.00 on an auto delivery.

It must be some really good stuff.

As far as the styling goes...the before could be dirty hair that has frizz, dry, over processed issues. They are trying to show that it helps to make it very manageable...hence making the styling that much easier. It is no big deal.

ETA: BTW, when I'm having a bad hair day...I can not only look scary but be scary. LOL
