....to play piano???? I had taped "America's Got Talent"and the first act was a chicken who played "America the Beautiful" perfectly. This was not random pecking-or a recorded track.
The bird's rhythm was flawless.
How on earth did they do it? Any expert chicken teachers?

The same way you teach a chicken to type- by the hunt and peck method.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but if you watch closely, it looks like the piano is rigged to play the correct notes even though the chicken doesn't hit all of the correct keys !
This is my observation anyway (:

Our local news has a weather forecaster who often does her presentations at the zoo. She really is fearless and handles everything while giving the weather. Anyway, she showcased this type of chicken just yesterday and it apparently is very smart. They can learn to do many things.

Some keyboards have pre-recorded songs with keys that light up red so that you know which key to press. Supposedly, it helps teach how to play. If that is the situation, then the chicken is just pecking at all the red keys.

What else can the chicken play?He is going to need a few great songs in the finals.
