How do you stay warm?

I'm wearing 3 layers, thermostat set on 72, and I'm still not warm! Unusually cold and windy here. Today I wore a wool pea coat from LL Bean and the wind went right through it! I need a warm coat that wind cannot blow through. How do you stay warm? What coat works for you?
