Re: How do you feel when you first wake up?

Some days, when I wake up, I'm sad. I'm the oddball of the group, lol.

Feel fine, take an inventory of what hurts and what I have to do today, then I work on getting out of bed.  A little unsteady at first, but I have lots of time.

I cannot say I ever wake-up feeling refreshed - it does not matter if I get 5 hours of sleep or 10 I still feel tired when I wake-up.

However, for me, taking my morning shower really does the trick in waking me up.  If I should skip a morning shower, I just do not feel totally awake during the day, but the shower really helps me!

I wake up stiff but I ride an exercise bike for 3 hours every morning.  Make my bed, get my cup of coffee, bottle of water and a book.  In 10 minutes of alarm I am speeding and reading and the stiffness and kinks are gone.  But those first few minutes are hard.  I feel worse all day if I skip my ride.

A little achy. Say a prayer. I'm a morning person so I'm ready to accomplish something before lunch.

Never ask that question of an idiot who really broke her neck!  Ha!

The only thing that doesn't hurt is my who*ha!  It left the building years ago.

Re: How do you feel when you first wake up?

I wake up wide awake, no drowsiness.  It's the most energy I have all day.  From there, it's like a ski slope, going downhill until I go to bed.

You could call me at 3 AM and I would answer the phone with a wide awake voice.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Some days, it hurts my back to stand.  Other days, it doesn't. Then it takes me awhile to get my eyeballs open when  they want nothing more than to slam shut. That about sums it up for me.Woman Happy

As in gritting my teeth with excitement.  Sounds crazy I know.

Even if there isn't anything particularly great going on, I'm just so dang happy when I wake up.  It's been like that for as long as I can remember.  I think it's just because I love my live so much?  I dunno!

My first thought is if I'm hot or cold.  Usually cold.  I need that snooze alarm for a minute.

I am not a morning person, and never have been.

Me first thing!
