How do you Remove Those Labels from your Scarves?

I bought a few new scarves and don't know how to remove the labels, or if I should bother removing them at all.

I've ruined several scarves trying to remove the labels with a pair of scissors and with a stitch puller. Neither are a good option.

I hear that this is the year of the scarf (although I think every year is the year of the scarf).

What do you do with your labels?
