How do you Leave Your Holiday Gift for the Garbage Men?

Hhow does one leave money for the garbagemen? They come VERY early in the morning, long before we wake up. Where would we possibly leave an envelope with cash, where they will see it?

In the past, they would come later in the morning and we could run out and hand it to them, but not when they're here at 6:30 in the morning.

Any ideas?
