How do you Handle Raw Chicken?

I've gotten a bit paranoid about raw chicken lately. I used to use some safety measures, but now it's like I'm handling poison.

In the supermarket I wrap the packages of chicken in double plastic bags before putting them in my cart. I package them separately in bags so they don't touch any other foods, even in the double plastic bags.

I put the packages in the freezer immediately, and then wash my hands.

When I take them out of the freezer to cook them, I take the rack out of the sink, and wash each piece carefully and place in a bowl. After I'm done washing and cleaning it, I clean out the sink, the faucet, the counter, and any utensils I may have used, with a mixture of bleach and water. Again I wash my hands.

Then I place the chicken pieces in the baking pan. I again wash my hands. I usually put some type of rub on the chicken, and again wash my hands.

Finally it goes into the oven, and again I clean up the sink, counters and anything else that may have touched the raw chicken, and then again I wash my hands.

By the time we eat, I'm exhausted lol

Do you take drastic measures to make sure all traces of the raw chicken are gone?
