How did you Approach the big 3-0?

Next February I will be 30 and I am not taking it too well. I feel like I should have accomplished more in my life. It does help that I'm often mistaken for younger than 25.

For some reason 30 was fairly traumatic. 40, 50, & 60 were a piece of cake by comparison.

Let's see, I've hit the big 3-0 three times now. Can't get away with it now, so I'm approaching the big 5-0, (again). If you really feel as if you should be more accomplished-do whatever it is you think you should be doing. I went to college during my thirties. Don't waste time-you only get a finite amount of it.

30 and 40 were a breeze for me...but 50...oh my...50 was hard!!

HEAD ON ... 30 was nothing but a number. My best friend and my ex freaked when they hit 30. I never understood why ... still don't. Be proud of it and stay on your path. You never stop learning, growing, and aging. They should all be a goal to reach! ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup}$ ${#emotions_dlg.wub}$

I don't remember any of the milestone birthdays being traumatic. I will say that when I turned 50 a couple of years ago I was a little melancholy because my husband had been alive on my 40th and was gone for my 50th.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

30 didn't bother me in the least. But 25 did! I think at 25, it really hit me that I was an adult and had to leave the teenage mindset behind. By the time I hit 30, I was used to my adult status and it was no big deal.
