In Peoria, AZ the official high temp was 119. Cooling down to 117 tomorrow.

I also live in Peoria....only way to survive the heat today was to stay inside the nice air conditioning. FYI...Last night at 10:30pm it was still 100 out. UGH. no relief for us. Can't even get relief at night. That is our typical summer.

Maybe it's time to move on from trying to figure out why something was deleted...in fact, one of the moderators included that the post was from a previously deleted post. We may not always know why....it just is.

It's pretty bad when we can't even discuss the weather. Perhaps the thread became political, i. e. climate change? I never saw it.

I had an innocuous thread removed recently. I persisted in asking the Mods why. Finally, I got an answer. I had too many links and it was automatically caught as spam.
I persisted because I wanted to make sure not to do it again. A few posters made snide comments and insinuations about me. Most posters tried to help solve the mystery.
I was grateful to the Mods who helped me out. I think it's helpful for Mods to explain why some posts are deleted so that posters know what they did wrong. How else can they avoid doing it again? @VaBelle35 might be right.

@Noel7 wrote:No, it wasn't suspicious. I posted about the dangerous heat wave we are having and I posted a chart for Sacramento temps for the coming week.
we also has a nice conversation about temp differences between southern Cal and northern Cal.
If anyone posted anything bad, I didn't see it.
@SeaMaiden mentioned suspicious because that was the reason given for another thread being poofed. There was a suspicious link in it.
Thank you @tansy
No link in the conversation at all. I missed maybe five or ten minutes at the end, so I don't know what happened during that time. It was a pleasant conversation as far as I know.
The conversation I read I also sounded fine and without conflict. It was focusing on the temperatures some QVC customers (read: us) were experiencing. It didn't read as " controversial." Maybe something happened later, but it didn't seem headed in that direction.
If it was the topic, I can only say that to deem a discussion of weather extremes as "controversial" is taking a stand on the side of an issue that most people don't think has any sides at all. It's as if I said, "Millions of years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth," and was moderated because there are some people who favor the Flintstones model of natural history.
I'd SMH, except it's not my head that needs it.
LOL @noodleann 😄

We keep getting warned about this coming Thursday, it's supposed to be a scorcher.
FYI: We are getting warnings to keep pets inside and to keep an eye on short nose dogs, they have trouble breathing in the extreme heat.

(thread title)
Depends on what contributors had said in this thread(post). Any thread can go off track and lead to being shut down or poofed. The title many times has little to do with what happens as more post to the thread.
Jmo!
