How can An Earthquake in Japan Effect UPS

deliveries in Hawaii and California?

On the UPS main page it states that no deliveries will be made in certain zip codes in these states.

My packages have been delayed in Utah because of this.

I hope these people in Japan are doing alright. So many quakes in that country.
