Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

Give yourself some down time. Don't stress, don't worry about a lot of the things you normally worry about.

Do what you can for your situation, be as safe as you can, and do things you enjoy or take naps.

Organize your closet 10 or 15 minutes at a time!  It will make you happy.  Make a new dish.  Eat something you love that is bad for you.

Not to make light, but try to make the best of it. I only check in on the news a time or two a day because there is absolutely nothing I can change but to stress myself.  So what's the point?

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

i'm staying home and trying to keep up with my daily routine. eating healthy, working out, just trying to keep my mind and body in good health. husband is working from home. not something i'm used to, but we're giving each other our space so as not to annoy the other in the face of unusual forced circumstances. i'm not feeling sad. i'm feeling angry that we can't do more to get this virus in control, and angry that people are panic buying because of ignorance.

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

I take my dogs out several times a day. We do live in a rural area, but there is still traffic that usually goes by. We have been out three different times now today. It is eerily quiet here. The only thing making noise are the birds and the cattle that are on both sides of our property, they all seem happy.

I have seen one truck go by.

I am feeling stressed and about the time I get myself settled down, someone will call or text me with news that makes me anxious.

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

Had grandkids yesterday and did lots of outside things.  I refuse to be a "victim" to all the fear mongers!  I've seen all sorts of virus' come and go in my lifetime. Zika, Sars, etc and I'm still standing.  I refuse to let this slow me down.  The gym is closed, but I can still go walking.  Today, not so much as we're having a blizzard and expecting 9 inches of snow, but shoveling is exercise.  Put positive thoughts in your head and quit listening to all the doom & gloom.

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

I'm doing pretty well.  As others here have reported, I had a weird dream, I wake up at 4:30'ish to go #1 (drinking much more water and various tea varieties), and then I can't go back to sleep for a couple of hours.

I have plenty of food and supplies as this is my normal mode of operation.

I have not been out of the house (except to get my mail) since March 13.

I've been doing workouts at home in little segments here and there.

I have been using a Verilux light because we have had nonstop grey skies and rain.

I am texting my best friend, neighbors, and sister a lot more than usual too.

I'm naturally an introvert, which comes in handy right now, but I miss going to the gym, almost daily, the most.

I feel like I'm going to be fine. But the world outside seems to be falling apart. I hope it's in service of something better. I also wish I could go to my Starbucks.

I'm with you.

Not eating right, not sleeping at all, running back and forth to work and dealing with the nonsense going on there.  Waiting to see if I have a job in two weeks.  And now a pandemic.

It's enough to make you jump.  I just told a coworker I should keel over right here in my office and at least make them clean me up.

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

I am staying in but it is difficult for me.  I am a social person and tend to be out and about most days.  My next planned trip out is to the doctor's office to have stitches taken out of my hand from skin cancer surgery a week from Friday - seems like a long time away.  It is warmer here now (PNW) and I got outside weeding which improved my attitude.

The dog is getting frequent, longer walks.  Honestly, he'd prefer being a couch pup.

Re: How are you acting/ feeling different during this time?

I really haven't changed anything, so I'm not feeling deprived.  So far, my gym is still open.  Yesterday there was all of about 20 people there at 7:00 am when I go, so it's easy to keep your distance.  My church has now closed and will be doing a live stream on Sunday, so that will be different.  Temps were nice today and the rain won't be back until later, so I spent the morning weeding one of my gardens.

Now, I'm rinsed off and ready to jump into Ancestry since I found out this morning that the Library version, which normally can only be accessed by those of us who don't pay for Ancestry from inside the library (or within the library's wifi which often is the parking lot), will now be available from home during the shut-down.  Even without that I still had a lot of genealogy work that I could do using FamilySearch which is free.

We have been running out for lunch.  Yesterday, we just picked up a Jersey Mike's sandwich and brought it home to eat since they weren't allowing people to stay to eat.  We were the only people in the store.

The only thing I hate is a lot of TV is COVID-19 24/7 or re-runs.  Even LivePD is taking a break until April 3.
