How Some Kids Have Inklings About What to Become When Adults - Funny ~~

I started a thread about my niece who was accepted in med. school yesterday and I received some very nice congratulations for her.

Something funny. When she was 4 and her brother was 5, for Christmas he got a little dr.'s play set and she.... of course a little nurse's play set. She looked at her parents and said, clear as a bell.- "Why can't girls become a doctor, there is nothing wrong with that!"

It took her nearly 30 years before she has come this far, but obviously she felt that just because her Dad was a dr. she too could become one. Her brother is not at all interested in that field, as he has seen his Dad is working day and night as a sole practitioner/ cardiologist so he is always called upon in the middle of the night and weekends. He got his MBA himself.
