QVC has paid UPS to roll your package in something black and dusty and run over it twice for some nice tire prints!

@Sooner   I can always tell who delivered my package just by looking at it on the porch.

UPS on the floor, gritty and dirty and it does look like it has been run over by a truck.  I think it must have something to do with their conveyor belts.  Bag immediately goes in the trash.

USPS - Package is laying on the table or chair.  Bag clean with no tears or marks and is kept in a cabinet for re-use.

Re: How Shippers Handle Your Packages.

In my world, Fed EX - packages more often than not damaged and in bad shape.  UPS put by my back fence per my instructions and if raining even put on my back porch if fence not locked but at times show delivered but do not get until the next day.   USPS if small put inside my front storm door and if larger by my back fence with a smile and treat for my dog.  I wonder what ever happened to putting packates in plastic bags in wet weather?

Re: How Shippers Handle Your Packages.

I had the same issues with UPS packages. Dusty, so dirty I would wipe them off with a paper towel prior to opening.

Mine actually had boot prints on them, so I assumed they were kicked around and stepped on.

A co-worker mentioned to me once how UPS staff threw around the boxes and packages that were delivered.
