I was married on valentines day -we had a blizzard the day before my wedding and the florist called me to say he could not deliver the flowers. Bless his heart - my father went and got them. , despite all that snow and ice. That evening my DH and our best man exchanged our cars with friends who had 4 wheel drive so all the important participants could get to the wedding. The morning of the wedding we woke to bright sunshine but it had snowed all night so the sun on the snow was so beautiful - it sparkled. It made for amazing beautiful pictures - we got married at 9AM so the snow was still pristine.

We have never eaten out on Valentines day...to busy and frankly I am not a big fan of the day.
