Or the large quarantine signs posted by front doors for contagious diseases? I know our town used them for measles, mumps, chicken pox, and scarlet fever.

@millieshops Welcome!🥰 I am not familiar with these things and had never heard of a treadle, so I Googled them! I recall my dear mother having a sewing machine with a pedal, but did not know it was called a treadle!😁 THANK you so much for sharing these as I always appreciate educational knowledge nuggets!!❤️
