How Long Does A Black Eye Last

I was taking down a foldable table at church Monday after we had served a meal to our dd's husband's family who lost their father. released the fold up leg too hard and it came back and caught me in the eye..Really didn't hurt but a huge knot came up on the bone above the eye and by the next day my whole eyelid was PURPLE..No need of trying to cover it up, makeup just turns it yellow-purple..If the knot doesn't go away by next week guess I should go to the Dr. .. No good deed goes undone..hee hee
