I pop it in either my Chris Freytag popcorn maker or I have my granny's cast iron pot with lid. I use only canola oil....only use sea salt on my popcorn (no butter). I am a popcorn snob and only use Black Jewel or Crimson Jewel popcorn. You would not believe the taste of this product, absolutely gourmet and delish!

Well a big expensive one but still a gadget IMO.

I cracked up reading this, because my husband has been dying to get one for the media room. I only see him eat popcorn 2-3 times a year, and thus far I've held him off. He also has a gadget problem............. :-/

I remember us talking about this on another thread. If I am not mistaken you were the one who recommended the whiskey rocks that I got him for Christmas which he loves. LOL!!

I don't THINK I suggested the rocks, but let me add that to the list of things-I-hope-hubby-never-finds-out-about....... Lol!!! I'm sure he would love them, though!!

Growing up, we had a popcorn machine. These days, I buy the microwave bags.

My husband bought me one of those for Christmas last year (I still don't know why), but the kids love it. However the one he bought was huge, it's the size they use at High School concession stands. The kids use it when they have their friends over, the only thing is I don't care to clean it, but the popcorn is good!
