I eat it with a fork. I've never heard of folding it.

I start out with a knife and a fork but use my hands when I get towards the crust.  Less messy for me that way.

I'm reminded of one thing - does everybody really eat it COLD the next day?

Granted, I'm a VERY picky eater and one of the things for me is that if it is meant to be hot, I must eat it hot.  I can't just pull it out of the refrigerator and eat it cold.

I put the piece or two pieces on some nonstick aluminum foil and heat it up in my  countertop convection oven on about 320F for around 17-18 minutes.

I love pizza, but I could never, ever eat it cold.  And what next day?  There's never any leftover pizza at my house.

Pick up with hand on widest part. Eat smaller end first.

Texan. No folding or cutting. Just pick it up and eat it.

I hold it in my hand and start eating from the tip and work my way to the crust. When I was a kid I ate cold leftover pizza with a glass of milk for breakfast. Now I still eat the cold pizza but no milk.

Re: How Do You Eat Pizza

[ Edited ]

@Jordan2

I haven't had a piece of pizza in several years, but! In my part of the country I cannot remember seeing anyone folding a slice before eating it. I took a frozen pizza out of the freezer for my wife to eat for her dinner tonight.  No folding for her.

I have seen some cut a piece with a knife, even a fork, to eat it by the bite, as in a steak. But folding it?  Never ate it that way, and if and when I do eat pizza again, it will not be folded.

I guess if the pizza is thick a fork and knife makes sense.  We just shove it in.  We like thin crust and have a favorite place for pickup, they don't deliver.  Love pizza and mozzarella is suppose to be very good for you but we only eat it once a month I'm guessing. Not a big fan of sausage or pepperoni on it.

Eat it starting with the tip of the piece of pizza and usually just use hand.  If I would eat it out, I would use knife and fork!

I'm from Chicago.  Our pizza is cut in squares.

I do eat deep dish pizza with a knife and fork.  It's impossible to pick it up with your hands.

On the rare occasion pizza is cut into triangles, I eat it from tip to crust.  I don't fold over.  Our crust is a little thicker than New York pizza, so it really can't be folded easily.
