I have a trip coming up this week, and I'm packing. I usually try to choose clothing that will mix and match well so that I don't have to take a lot along. Gone are the days of big luggage where I take half my wardrobe with me.
I was talking to a friend on the phone last night, and she said when she travels, she packs old clothing. After she has worn them once or twice on the trip, she tosses them away or donates them. That way she has room to bring back souvenirs and food from that part of the country.
I couldn't believe that! I like to wear nice clothing and take along some of my jewelry to go with my outfits. How do you choose your clothing for travel? Do you limit yourself to one small carry on for a week long trip, or do you bite the bullet and pay the additional fee for larger luggage? Anyone else throw away their clothing?
